Obituary of Eric Robert Connor
Eric Robert Connor, 29, of Muscatine, passed away on June 16, 2019 at Trinity Hospital, Rock Island. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Following visitation, a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Misterssippis. Eric was born on August 21, 1989 in Muscatine, the son of Steve Connor and Shelly Jasper. Eric was a 2007 graduate of MHS and was a devoted member of the local Painter’s Union #626 of Rock Island. On May 28, 2017, Eric was united in marriage to Brittney Butler. He enjoyed kayaking, attending concerts with his wife, hiking with his family, playing softball and all around loved sports. In Eric’s opinion he was a member of the Chicago Cubs 2016 World Series Team. Eric was a hardworking man and the very best dad and husband. Eric was deeply loved by all.
Eric will be deeply missed by his wife, Brittney; three children, Madelyn, Lucy and Kash Connor; his parents, Steve and Sandy Connor, Stephen and Shelly Christensen, John Blouse, Stephanie Butler and Daniel ‘Papa’ Stiles; grandparents, Lou Jasper and Shirley Connor, Jim and Suzanne Blouse; siblings, Allison (1st Sgt, Adam) Gable, Tara (Louie) Broders, Luna Jean, Harley Butler, Skyye and Joseph Mendez, Jr.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins who loved him dearly.
Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul Jasper, Bonna Terry, Jack Connor, Rosalie Hafner, uncles, Robert Jasper and William Wroe and aunt, Sue Jasper.
