Obituary of Robert Kleindolph

Robert Kleindolph, 83, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at Unity Point Trinity Muscatine. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services.  Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation for Bob will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Bob’s name. Robert Kleindolph was born on May 11, 1936 in Muscatine, the son of Ralph and Mary Ann (Tubbs) Kleindolph.  On December 24, 1955, Bob was united in marriage to Lyla “Lolly” Kallenberger in Wapello.  Bob had worked for Prime Mover in the model shop.  He attended Walnut Park Baptist Church.  He enjoyed racing Jalopies and stock cars, bowling, watching Western movies and going to the casinos with his wife, Lolly. 

Bob will be deeply missed by his children, Teresa (John) Theobald of Wapello, Sherry Kleindolph of Muscatine and Mark (Jen Williams) Kleindolph of Tipton; two grandchildren, Andrew (Janelle) Theobald of Bondurant and Geoffrey (Val) Theobald of Wapello and great-grandchildren, Rylie Theobald Emma Theobald and one on the way in November.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Lolly in 2018; brothers, Oscar and Richard Kleindolph; infant brother, Clarence Kleindolph and two sisters, Betty Rockafellow and Helen Ives.
