Obituary of Charles H. Ford

Charles Howard Ford, Sr., 43 of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at his home in Muscatine. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at the Muscatine Baptist Chapel. Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is caring for Charles’ arrangements and his family. Charles Howard Ford was born on November 9, 1973, in Chicago, Illinois the son of Larry and Kathy (Meyers) Ford. On April 17, 2010, Charles was united in marriage to Sharon Riggs in Muscatine. Charles enjoyed taking care of his wife, Sharon. Charles will be deeply missed by his wife, Sharon of Muscatine; his children, Julia Ford, Charlie Ford, Jr. and Larry Ford, all of Danville, Illinois; one grandson, Connor Ford; siblings, Larry Ford of Kentucky, Paige Ford of Illinois and Laura Ford of Illinois; niece, Amethyst Riggs and special friend, Doyne Forrester. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Georgina Ford.
