Obituary of Ehrma Lee Jackson

Mrs. Ehrma Lee (Beason) Jackson, 97, of Muscatine, Iowa passed away on Monday, February 13, 2017 at her home in Muscatine. Visitation for Ehrma will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home located at 2907 Mulberry Avenue, in Muscatine, Iowa. Mrs. Jackson’s Home-Going Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, February 17, 2017, at the Hillcrest Baptist Church located at 1613 Bidwell Road, in Muscatine, Iowa. Pastor Dave McIntosh will officiate the services. Burial services will be held in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Immediately following the committal services, a time for food and fellowship will be held at the Hillcrest Baptist Church. A memorial fund payable to Moody Bible Institute has been established at the funeral home in loving memory of Ehrma. Ehrma Lee (Beason) Jackson was born on March 7, 1919 in Marianna, Arkansas, the daughter of Shelton Beason and Mary Edwards. Ehrma was united in marriage to Garridge Lee Jackson on November 20, 1934. From this union was born four children; Talmadge Jackson (deceased), Madie Lee Jackson Frank (deceased), Richard Jackson, and Neomia Jackson Malcolm. Ehrma retired from Stanley Consultants after twenty-three successful years. Ehrma conducted bible studies and lead intercessory pray meetings in her home. She also was a valued long time member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Ehrma was preceded in death by her parents; Shelton Beason and Mary Edwards, her husband; Garridge Jackson, her son and daughter; Talmadge Jackson and Madie Lee Jackson Frank. She will be deeply missed by her son and daughter Richard Jackson, and Neomia Jackson Malcolm, and her grandchildren; Cynthia Frank, Judy Frank, Angela Jackson, Lorraine Jackson, Liza Jackson, Mary Jackson-Anders and her husband Jim, Henry Preston Frank Ill, Anthony Frank, and her thirty (30) great grandchildren; twenty-five (25) great-great grandchildren and three (3) great-great-great grandchildren.
