Obituary of Rebecca Ann Bulger

Rebecca A. Bulger, 58, of Ainsworth, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.  A celebration of life will be held at the Riverside V.F.W. Post 6414 on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at 12:30pm.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Rebecca’s name.  Online condolences for the family may be sent to www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.  The Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is caring for Rebecca’s arrangements and her family.

Rebecca A. Bulger was born on September 17, 1958 in Iowa City, IA, the daughter of John and JoAnn “Judy” (Jackson) Bulger.  Rebecca enjoyed planting flowers, gardening, making greeting cards, helping her neighbors and others, and most of all spending time with family and friends.

Rebecca will be deeply missed by her soul mate, Kevin McCormick of Ainsworth; sisters, Debbie (Jim) Ritchie of The Villages, FL, and Lori (Ken) Waldschmidt of Riverside, IA; brother, Mark (Jacque) of Omaha, NE; two sisters-in-law, Cathleen (Robert) Hobson of Chicago, IL and Maureen McCormick Chicago, IL.  Becky was a special aunt to Andy (Amy) Ritchie, Corey Ritchie, Michael Waldschmidt, Jonathon Waldschmidt, Amanda Bulger, Ryan O’Connor, Ian O’Connor and Fiona O’Connor; and she was great aunt to Ally, Ryan and Matthew Ritchie.  She will be remembered by her family for her many acts of kindness towards others.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents and two brother, David Bulger and Robert Bulger (who died in infancy).
