Just found out about Uncle Gene's death. Gene is my Mom's youngest brother. In the last century when both of us were a lot younger, Gene was still living at home and working in Waterloo. He would come home on Friday night and on many Saturdays we would get up before sun-up and he would take me fishing at trout streams around Cresco and especially Decorah. He was a good teacher. Very patient with his young nephew. Gene loved trout fishing and was good at it. Those were good times. Good memories. He was a good guy. My condolences. Jim Farghum-Mason City
