Obituary of Robert William Honea, Jr.

Robert William Honea Jr., 57, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at his home in Muscatine.  Cremation rites have been facilitated by Geo M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services.  Visitation will be Monday, June 12, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  Sympathy notes may be left for Robert’s family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. 

Robert William Honea was born on November 10, 1959, in Muscatine, Iowa the son of Robert William and Mary Kathryn (Call) Honea Sr.  Robert was united in marriage to Virginia Bechmann on December 12, 1986, in Muscatine, Iowa.  Robert held a variety of jobs throughout life and enjoyed watching TV, yardwork, reading the newspaper and spending time with his family. 

Robert will be deeply missed by his wife, Virginia of Muscatine; one son, Robert William Honea, III, of Muscatine; siblings, Terry Cole and her husband Jim, Kathy Seefeldt and her husband Mark and Babbie Lambert, all of Muscatine; and other friends and family.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Sherry Campbell.
