Obituary of Beverly M. Hayes

Beverly M. Hayes, 87, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2017, at Lutheran Living.  Funeral services for Beverly will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services.  Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.  Visitation for Beverly will be held on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Beverly.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. 

Beverly Marie Titus was born on April 23, 1930, in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Leslie and Verda (Latta) Titus.  On April 24, 1948, Beverly was united in marriage to Ross “Gene” E. Buster in Muscatine.  Following Gene’s passing, she was united in marriage to Thomas W. Hayes in January of 1980 in Bettendorf.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed cleaning, puzzles, animals and cooking.

Beverly will be deeply missed by her son, Greg (Terrie) Buster of Muscatine; grandchildren Tanya (Lucas) Jordan, Tasha (George) DeMayo, Samantha (Mike) Eaton and Bethany (Lee) Behnke and 13 great grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, one brother Leslie Jr., and two sisters, Charlotte and Jean.
