Obituary of Scott D. Seaba

Scott D. Seaba, 55, of Atalissa, son of Don and Carol Seaba, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 11, at Cedar Valley United Methodist Church, 1791 155th St., West Liberty, IA. Cremation rites have been facilitated by the FCS Life Transition and Cremation Center.  The Geo M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is caring for Scott’s family and the arrangements.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Scott’s name.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.

Scott Douglas Seaba was born on April 12, 1962 in Sigourney, Iowa.  Scott was a graduate of Iowa Wesleyan College and also attended Emory University.  He pastored in Atlanta for several years and enjoyed hunting and fishing. 

Scott will be deeply missed by his son, Ryan D. Seaba; daughter, Samantha A. Seaba,  with former wife, Chris Seemann; parents Don and Carol Seaba; brother Gary (Julie) Seaba and their children, Mackenzie and Taylor; sister, Lisa Allen and her children, Brenton and Brad; and great niece Sabrina Allen. 

Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents; and his niece, Brittany Seaba.
