Obituary of Eileen Todd

Eileen Todd, 74, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Lutheran Living.  Cremation rites have been facilitated by the FCS Life Transition and Cremation Center. Graveside services will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at Illinois City Cemetery.  Following the interment, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the First Assembly of God Church in Muscatine.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Eileen’s name.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is caring for Eileen’s family and the arrangements.

 

Eileen Allen Todd was born on August 14, 1943, in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Clinton A. and Eva L. (Wakefield) Peterson.  On December 23, 1962, Eileen was united in marriage to Harold G. Todd in Muscatine.  Eileen had worked for Maid-Rite for 34 years and for CDS in Wilton for 12 years. She was a past member of the Ladies of the Moose and she enjoyed camping.  She had made her home at Lutheran Living since November of 2014. 

 

Eileen will be deeply missed by her husband Harold; sons, Anthony G. Todd of Muscatine and Andrew J. (Brenda) Todd of Muscatine; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Clinton Peterson, Jr.; sisters, Elizabeth Cromer and RosLin Hyink, both of Muscatine and nieces and nephews. 

 

Eileen was preceded in death by her biological father; her mother, Eva King and step-father, LeRoy King, Sr.; brothers, Bill Peterson and LeRoy King and sisters, Helen McLaughlin and Nancy Reiner.
