Obituary of Cathy J Kraklow

Cathy J. Kraklow, 56, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017, after a battle of cancer since 2005.   Funeral services for Cathy will be 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services.  Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Taylor Ridge, Illinois.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December, 5, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Cathy’s name.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.

Cathy J. Kraklow was born on March 14, 1961 in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of David J. and Dorothy M. (Frankenberry) Kraklow.   Cathy was a 1979 graduate of Rockridge High School.  She had worked at Muscatine General Hospital for 40 years and cared for her parents in their home.   Cathy enjoyed watching her TV shows and movies and reading lots of books. 

Cathy will be missed by her siblings, David A. Kraklow and wife, Deborah of Saginaw, MI, Brian W. Kraklow of Fruitland, and Carla K. Downing and husband, Ken of Moline; nieces and nephew, Rae (Daniel Martinez) Downing, Tiffany (Matt) Johnson and Daniel and her two beloved dogs, Snickers and Abbey.

Cathy was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Patrick A. Kraklow.
