Obituary of Raymond DeWayne Mason

Raymond DeWayne Mason, 61, of Muscatine, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at his home.  Cremation rites have been facilitated by the FCS Life Transition and Cremation Center, located within Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery.  There will be no visitation or services.   Online condolences may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.  The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services are caring for Raymond’s arrangements and his family.

Raymond DeWayne Mason was born on July 25, 1956 in Georgia to Raymond Richard and Betty Louise (Buser) Mason.  Raymond had worked as a painter and sandblaster for many years.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and spending time with his family.   

Raymond will be deeply missed by his sons, Corey (Becky) Mason of Creston and Matthew Mason of Muscatine; his father, Raymond Mason of Phillsburg, MO; siblings, Jody (Donald) Anderson of Muscatine, Diane (Jeff) Elder of Muscatine and Mark Mason of Phillipsburg, MO; grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Raymond was preceded in death by his mother; two sisters in infancy; maternal and paternal grandparents and aunts and uncles.
