Obituary of Lucy Irene Brandon-Ross

Lucille “Lucy” Irene Brandon-Ross, 85, of Missoula, Montana passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Missoula Manor.  Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2018, at the Columbus City Cemetery.  The Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services of Columbus Junction is caring for Lucille’s arrangements and her family.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.   

Lucille Irene Stender was born on October 5, 1932, in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Rudolph Carl and Dora Hazel (Davidson) Stender.  On January 25, 1958, Lucille was united in marriage to Robert Brandon in Muscatine.  Following Robert’s passing, Lucille was united in marriage to Max Ross.  Lucille worked at St. Luke’s Hospital in Davenport for 10 years as a nurse’s aid.  She was a Girl Scout Leader and helped with day camp and other girl scout activities.  She drove for RTA and assisted with computer work at C.A.P. office in Columbus Junction.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Winfield.

Lucy’s contributions to her community will be missed by her family and friends.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents and both husbands.
