Obituary of Joyce Elizabeth Terrill

Joyce E. Terrill, 83, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Lutheran Living.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 1:30 P.M. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services.  Interment will be in Drury-Reynolds Cemetery.  Following the interment, a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Community Room.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.  Memorials may be directed to the Muscatine Humane Society or Lutheran Living in Joyce’s name.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. 

Joyce Elizabeth Kranz was born on April 13, 1934 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Clifford S. and Launa Mae (Thompson) Kranz.  On February 7, 1954, Joyce was united in marriage to Jim W. Terrill in Illinois City.  She retired as co-manager from Iowa Pearl in 1995.   Joyce was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Muscatine Moose and Elks Lodges and a 50 year member of the Eastern Star in Buffalo Prairie.   

Joyce will be deeply missed by her husband, Jim of Muscatine; daughter, Kandis (Joel) DeLeon of Illinois City and her sister, Mary (Jim) Noble.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Kay Franklin, Frances Leach and Margaret Mathes; and two brothers, Donald and William Kranz.
