Obituary of Susan Vere Wagner
Susan Vere Wagner, 70, passed away peacefully, on April 6, 2018 at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City. No formal service or visitation is currently planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Iowa City Hospice in Susan’s name. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is handling the arrangements
Susan was born on January 5, 1948 in Lansing, Michigan, the daughter of Lloyd and Viola (Yocum) Wagner. Susan had obtained her Master’s Degree in Administration and worked several years as a school administrator.
Susan is survived by her daughter, Julie Cork of St. Paul, Minnesota; brothers, Donne (Sally) Wagner of Muscatine, Joe (Gloria) Wagner of San Antonio, Florida; sister, Barsha Elzey of San Rafael, California; and several nieces and nephews.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Michael.
