Obituary of Kathy Martin

Kathy Marie Martin, 59, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at her home.  Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 6:00 P.M. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services.  Visitation will be held on Friday, from 5:00-6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.   Online Condolences may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. 

Kathy Marie Hoke was born on February 18, 1959 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Franklyn and Carolyn (McCarty) Hoke.  On March 26, 1997, Kathy was united in marriage to Kevin Martin in Bettendorf, Iowa.  She worked as a para-educator in the Davenport School District for many years, and also for Head Start in Muscatine.  Kathy enjoyed doing crafts, cooking, fishing, camping and was a member of the Grandparents Support Group.  Kathy always brought a smile and joy to everyone she encountered. 

Kathy will be deeply missed by her husband, Kevin of Muscatine; daughter, Lori Meyers of Buffalo; son, Christian Martin of Muscatine; three grandchildren, Deshja, Anna and Demetrius; parents, Franklyn and Carolyn Hoke of Bettendorf; mother-in-law, Jeanette Martin of New Boston, Illinois; siblings, Lori (Bill) Otten of Eldridge, Kenny (Tracy) Hoke of Davenport, Brian (Tina) Miller of LeClaire, David (Leah) Miller of Bettendorf, Billy Joe (Jessica) Miller of Bettendorf; and several  nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her grandparents.
