Obituary of Jose Armando Izaguirre

Jose A. Izaguirre, 28, of Muscatine, passed away Sunday, June 3, 2018 at Unity Point Hospital, Muscatine.  Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mathias Church.  Visitation for Jose will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Geo. Jose Armando Izaguirre was born on May 7, 1990 in Muscatine, Iowa the son of Armando and Norma (Reyes) Izaguirre.  He was a 2009 graduate of Louisa Muscatine High School and had worked as a forklift operator at HNI for several years.  Jose loved to play golf and shoot pool at Sticks and Stones.  He had a love of music, dancing, fishing and boating and making others feel appreciated.  More than anything else, Jose loved to spend time with his family

Jose will be deeply missed by his parents, Armando and Norma Izaguirre of Muscatine; brothers, Juan Emilio Izaguirre and Jaime Izaguirre both of Muscatine; maternal grandmother, Margie H. Reyes of Muscatine; maternal great grandmother, Hortensia Reyes of Austin Texas; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Jose was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Juan Izaguirre and Emilia Silva; maternal grandfather, Jose Reyes; maternal great grandmother, Ernestina Hernandez; and special cousin, Daniel Lee Hernandez.
