Obituary of Randy Lee Essex

Randy L. Essex, 62, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2018 at his home.  Cremation rites have been facilitated by the FCS Life Transition and Cremation Center, located within Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery.  Graveside services will be held at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.   Online condolences may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.  The Geo. Randy Lee Essex was born on July 22, 1955 in Muscatine, the son of Edward Lincoln and Ida Mae (Eisle) Essex.  Randy had worked as a security guard for Per Mar Security for several years although he would be most remembered as his time serving as DJ at Bakers Front Street.    Randy enjoyed watching professional wrestling, his Mt. Dew and his Menthol 100’s.

Randy will be missed by his sister-in-law, Debbie Essex of Muscatine; nephews, Duane (Tina) Linder, Mark Eggers, Steve (Alisha) Eggers and Jerry Eggers, all of Muscatine and Jeremy (Kristen) Essex of Boston, MA;  and several great nieces and nephews. 

Randy was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
