Obituary of Candice R. Kemp

Candice R. Kemp, 69, of Letts, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at her home in Letts.  There will be no visitation or funeral service.  The Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services of Columbus Junction is caring for Candice and her family.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.

            Candice Renae Nichols was born on May 10, 1949, in Muscatine, Iowa the daughter of Clifford and Monna May (Franklin) Nichols.   She was a graduate of Muscatine High School.  On September 15, 1976, Candice was united in marriage to William Kemp in Rock Island, Illinois.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and was an avid reader.

            Candice will be deeply missed by her husband, William of Letts; children, Tyrone Kemp of Letts, Trever Kemp of Davenport, Tara (Ed) Latimer of Muscatine, Tiffany Knee of Letts and Tasha (Curtis) Hampton of Muscatine; nine grandchildren and siblings, Rick Nichols of Mediapolis, Kerry Nichols of Wisconsin, Clay Nichols of Muscatine, Corey Nichols of Wapello, Darla Ewart of Wapello, Liane Carter of Grandview, Dawn Nichols of Muscatine, Tisa Nichols of Grandview and Mindi Yerington of Grandview.

            Candice was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Pamela Ravenscraft.
