Obituary of Maria (Ietje) Slot
Maria (Ietje) Slot, 86, of Muscatine passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Lutheran Living in Muscatine. Cremation rites have been facilitated by the FCS Life Transition and Cremation Center. There will be no services or visitation as Maria requested. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is caring for Maria’s arrangements and her family.
Maria Schroder was born on November 19, 1931 in Holland, the daughter of Willem and Bontje (Dwrsma) Schroder. Maria and her husband, Hans resided most of their lives in the Muscatine area.
Maria will be deeply missed by her husband, Hans; children, Louella, Laurette and Ron; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
