Obituary of Raoul D. Wolf

Raoul D. Wolf, 84, of Grandview, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.  Cremation rites have been facilitated by the FCS Life Transition and Cremation Center.  Graveside services will be held at a later date.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. Raoul David Wolf was born on August 16, 1934, in Burlington, Iowa the son of Herman and Margarete (Reynolds) Wolf.  On August 31, 1953, Raoul was united in marriage to Peggy  McKee in Burlington, Iowa.  Raoul owned and operated Wolf General Repair in Letts. He enjoyed motorcycles, going to Sturgis, visiting with people and hunting.

Raoul will be deeply missed by his wife, Peggy of Grandview; children, Brenda (Patrick) Hogan of Grandview, Kent Wolf of Cedar Rapids and Doug (Tammy) Wolf of Grandview; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; one brother, John (Pat) Wolf of Cedar Rapids and two sisters, Ann (Mick) Brunsfold of Texas and Mary (Don) Whistler of Arkansas.

            Raoul was preceded in death by his parents.
