Obituary of Jasmine Alvarez-Gonzalez

Jasmine Alvarez-Gonzalez, 20, of Columbus Junction, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2018 as a result of injuries sustained in automobile accident in rural Columbus Junction.   Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018, at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services.  Interment will be in Columbus City Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.   A memorial has been established at the funeral home in Jasmine’s name.  Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.

Jasmine Alvarez-Gonzalez was born on March 21, 1998 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Salvador Alvarez and Maria Gonzalez.  Jasmine graduated from Columbus Community Schools.  She enjoyed swimming, writing, photography and the arts.  She loved spending time with her cat, Rocky. 

Jasmine will be deeply missed by her parents, Salvador Alvarez and Maria Gonzalez of Columbus Junction; sister, Lilliana Alvarez-Gonzalez of Columbus Junction and paternal grandmother, Maria Garcia of Mexico. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
