Obituary of Roberta Toyne

Roberta Toyne, 70, of Muscatine passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 at Trinity Hospital, Muscatine.  Cremation rites have been facilitated by the FCS Life Transition and Cremation Center.   Private family inurnment will be held in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.   Online condolences may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. Roberta was born on August 27, 1948 in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Casper and Marie (Horseman) Smith.  Roberta was united in marriage to Art Dismang, Sr.in Illinois and later divorced.  She was later united in marriage to Kenny Toyne in Carterville, Missouri.  Roberta had worked for various cleaning companies for many years and enjoyed writing poetry, collecting butterflies and was a loving mother and grandmother. 

Roberta will be missed by her son, Art Dismang and wife, Lisa of Muscatine; daughter, Cindy Bliss of Pekin, Illinois; six grandchildren, Jacob, Berkley, Brinley, Scott, Jessica and Kelsi; eight great grandchildren; and two sisters, Marie LaRue of Muscatine and Jean Lett of Wilton.

Roberta was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenny; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Dismang; two sisters, Martha Smith and Mary LaRue; and four brothers, Casper Smith, Raymond Smith, James Smith and one in infancy.
