Obituary of Audrey A Embry

Audrey A. Embry, 78, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Lutheran Living.  Cremation rites have been facilitated by FCS Life Transition and Cremation Center.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Audrey’s name.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.  The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services are caring for Audrey’s arrangements and her family. 

Audrey Ann Steckman was born on July 16, 1940 in Muscatine, the daughter of Grant and Mildred (DeHeer) Steckman.  Audrey had worked at HON on the assembly line.  She enjoyed playing BINGO, watching her grandchildren play ball and was an avid Cubs fan.    

Audrey will be deeply missed by her children, Christine (Bob) Anson, Pam Romine, Teresa (Kevin) Duncan and Kelly Rodriquez, all of Muscatine; six grandchildren, Jeremy Steckman, Dusty Murdock, Devon Sides, Maegen Sides, Eric Anson and Shaylee Embry; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, John (Judy) Erickson and Jane Reifert, both of Muscatine; special niece, Becky Blake and sister-in-law, Grace Steckman of Muscatine. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary (Harold) Blake and brothers, Bob, Ron and Jim Steckman.
