Obituary of Donald Thomas Kujaczynski

Donald T. Kujaczynski Jr., 67, of Riverside, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019, at his home in Riverside.  Services will be held at a later date.  A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Donald.  Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.

Donald Thomas Kujaczynski, Jr. was born on October 2, 1951, in Fort Dix, New Jersey, the son of Donald Thomas and Frances Kathryn (Matekine) Kujaczynski.  Donald served in the United States Army from August 4, 1969 – March 11, 1972 and then served in the Army Reserves until August 3, 1975.  He received his Master’s Degree from the University of Iowa.  Donald was the supervisor of maintenance for the city of Iowa City.  He wrote and published poetry and enjoyed hunting, fishing, karate, art, mechanics and the study of philosophy of religion and science.

Donald will be deeply missed by his siblings, Joe (Debbie) Kujaczynski of Loveland, Colorado, Patsy Kujaczynski of Iowa City, Dan (Janie) Kujaczynski of Washington and Cindy (Chuck) Carey of Cedar Rapids.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Randy.
