Obituary of Shirley A Ryan

Shirley A. Ryan 89, of Muscatine, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Lutheran Living.  Private burial will be held in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery.   The Geo. M. Shirley Amelia Slattery was born on October 24, 1929, in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Frances (Wilhelmi) Slattery.  On June 1, 1947 Shirley was united in marriage to Ralph Ryan in Muscatine.  Shirley retired from HON Industries after 29 years of service.  She enjoyed sewing, reading and doing puzzles. 

Shirley will be deeply missed by her daughters, Charlotte Lake of Fruitland, Elizabeth (Casey) Cox of Eliza, IL and Hilma Warstaff of Muscatine; son, Ronald (Roberta) Ryan of Muscatine; 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ralph; sons, Reuben and Robert Ryan; grandson, Randal Ryan and one sister in infancy.
