Obituary of Sharon C Ford

Sharon C. Ford, 45, of Muscatine, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019 at The University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at the Muscatine Baptist Chapel, 1235 Lincoln Blvd. Muscatine.  Online condolences may be left for family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. Sharon Catherine Riggs was born on March 20, 1973 in Downey, California, the daughter of Olen and Patricia (Latham) Riggs.  Sharon was a 1991 graduate of Muscatine High School.  On April 17, 2010, Sharon was united in marriage to Charles Howard Ford, Sr. in Muscatine.  Sharon had worked as a CNA in Springfield, Missouri.  She was a member of Muscatine Baptist Chapel and she enjoyed arts and crafts, making bracelets and doing word search books. 

Sharon will be deeply missed by her sister, Lorri Riggs-Guthrie of Muscatine; her aunt, Joyce Welker of California and other family members including: Thomas John Heidel, III, Amethyst Mary Mae Riggs, Brandon Anderson and Mike and Connie Smith.

Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Charles on February 1, 2017 and her son, Mason Riggs-Hall on July 24, 1994.
