Obituary of Keith Allan Westfall
Keith A. Westfall, 76, of Columbus Junction, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 21, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction. A celebration of life for Keith will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the American Legion in Columbus Junction. A short prayer with remembrances will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the United Presbyterian Church of Columbus Junction in Keith’s name. Keith Allan Westfall was born on January 25, 1943 in Burlington, Iowa, the son of Ray and Marilyn (Sexton) Westfall. Keith was a 1961 graduate of Columbus Community High School. On December 10, 1961, Keith was united in marriage to Mildred Buffington. They later divorced. On April 24, 1980 he was united in marriage to Becky Richman. Keith was a truck driver most of his life. He was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Columbus Junction. He was an avid reader, gardener, handyman and enjoyed talking to anyone and everyone.
Keith will be deeply missed by his wife, Becky; children, Scott Westfall of Fredonia, William (Susan) of St. Robert, MO, Luke (Monica) Westfall of Eldridge, IA, Stephanie (Jason) Mass of Cedar Rapids, IA and Jason (Madeleine) Westfall of Pahoa, HI; 18 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; his mother, Marilyn Westfall of Texas; siblings, Max (Joyce) Westfall of Muscatine, Mal (Karen) Westfall of Tipton, Nancy (Bill) Wagner of Morning Sun, Bruce (Nancy) Westfall of Madison, AL, Paul Westfall of Fredonia and Kay (Ed) Elshoff of Creston, IL and several nieces and nephews.
Keith was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clark and Mabel Sexton and Jacob and Eva Westfall; his father, Ray Westfall and brother, Karl Westfall.
