Obituary of Patti Sue Adcock

Patti Adcock, 72, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at her home in Muscatine.  Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 19, 2019, at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Interment will be in Cedar Bethel Cemetery near Fredonia.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 18, 2019, from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established at the funeral home in Patti’s memory. Patti Sue Wagner was born on March 13, 1947, in Conesville, Iowa the daughter of Leo and Viola (Stratton) Wagner.  On April 18, 1964, Patti was united in marriage to Dwaine Adcock in Muscatine, Iowa.  She had been employed at Walmart and Fast Break. She provided Protective Summer Daycare for the State of Iowa for many years.  She enjoyed playing bingo, going to yard sales and playing the Betti the Yetti machine at the casino.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.

Patti will be deeply missed by her husband, Dwaine of Muscatine; her children, Daryl (Judy) Adcock, Rod (Dawn) Adcock, Janice (Scott) Painter, Gregory (Marsi) Adcock, Steve Adcock, Josh (Emily) Adcock all of Muscatine and Beth (Tyler) Wildman of Kalona;  13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Donna Alloway of Muscatine, Mona Alloway of Wapello, Margaret Mesecher of Wapello, Kerry (Ronald) Ziehl of Washington, Randy (Leza) Wagner of Muscatine and many extended family.

Patti was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Robert Wagner, Jack Wagner, David Wagner, Juanita Lobdell, Sharon Stevens, Peggy Wear, Harriet Bass and Marilyn Brockert and granddaughter, Emily Sue Adcock.
