Obituary of Beverly D'Ann Houtz

Beverly D. Houtz, 35, of Muscatine, passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Trinity Hospital, Muscatine.  Cremation rites have been facilitated by FCS Life Transition and Cremation Services.    A celebration of life gathering will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2019 from 12;00-2:00 P.M.  at the Wild Cat Den Upper Picnic Area.  Following the celebration, a time of food, drinks and fellowship will be held at the Muscatine American Legion from 3:00-5:00 P.M.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.

Beverly D’Ann Houtz was born on February 21, 1984 in La Mirada, California, the daughter of Mark and Tammy (Green) Houtz.  Beverly had worked as a waitress at Diamond Dave’s for several years.  She enjoyed watching movies, shopping, going on cruises, gardening, and animals and was always eager to lend a helping hand to others.

Beverly will be deeply missed by her father, Mark of Muscatine; her children, Deanna, Jason, Neveah, Ariana and Christian; the love of her life, Levi Byers of Muscatine and one brother, Sid Houtz.

Beverly was preceded in death by her mother and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
