I am so very sorry to learn of Kay's passing. Although I haven't seen Kay in several years, I'll always remember her smile and laugh. She was quite a character and she will be missed by all. My best and hugs to Mac and family.

I remember when Mac and Kay first moved into their house in Columbus City and the friendship they established with just about everyone in town. Kay was one of the familiar faces I would search for when going back home to visit for whatever occasion. Visiting with Kay was like visiting with family. She was always friendly, greeted you with a smile, and was willing to help you with whatever it was you needed. She will be truly missed by all who knew her. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mac and the boys for their loss. Kay was a true treasure!

She has been and always will be my Aunt Kay who was married to ‘Holy Smokes’. I have sweet memories of family gatherings with Aunt Kay as a young child. She was always kind to me and those around me. We moved out of state when I was a teen, but throughout the years I’ve been lucky enough to visit sporadically. Each time I saw her I felt her love. Aunt Kay’s thoughtfulness came through yet again when I needed her help setting up my mother’s memorial and funeral since I lived over a thousand miles away from the burial site. Seeing her this last July was wonderful and I will cherish that time greatly. Aunt Kay, you will always live on in our memories. Love, Janice.

I have known Kay since I was 9 years old! I lived right next door and we spent a lot of time together! I babysat Kip and Bret and just adored them. They were such cute little boys. Kay and my grandma would have fun watching their (stories) together! When I left home, Kay and my mom became very close. She has and always will have a special place in my heart. My love and prayers go out to Mac and the whole family.

Mac,
I am so sorry to hear of Kay's passing. You and Kay were so good to my mom (and my Dad). You two were just two peas in a pod. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
