Obituary of Kathryn Harman

Kathryn Harman, age 52, of Mediapolis died Friday, September 27, 2019 at her home. Kathryn Lynn Howell was born June 14, 1967 in Muscatine, the daughter of Aaron Lee and Rose A. (Frantz) Howell.  On May 27, 1986 she was united in marriage to Jim Harman in Las Vegas.  For the last 11 years she was a librarian at the Mediapolis Public Library.  She was a member of the Cornerstone Community Bible Church.  Kathryn enjoyed running, completing a marathon and several half marathons, 10k and 5k runs.  She loved spending time with her cats and most all, being with her family, especially her granddaughter.

Kathryn will be deeply missed by her husband, Jim of Mediapolis, daughter, Samantha (Aaron) Rodefer of Burlington, granddaughter, Adalina Rodefer; sister, Sharon (Mark) Olmstead of Atlanta, GA and brother, Logan Howell of Maryland.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Lee and Lyle Howell.
