Obituary of Lena Rae Koehn

Lena Rae Davis Koehn, age 23, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, formerly of rural Crawfordsville, died Monday, July 11, 2005 at her home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Funeral services for Lena will be Thursday, July 14, 2005 at 10:30am at the Salem Welsh Presbyterian Church of rural Columbus Junction where she was a member. Pastor James Edwards will officiate. Casketbearers will be Ryan Ebling, Matt Horack, Joey Koehn, Austin Vincent, Andy Davis and Jim Rees. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 13th, from 4-8:00pm at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Columbus Junction. A memorial has been established at the funeral home in Lena�s name. Burial will be in the Cambrian Cemetery. After the committal services, there will be a time of food and fellowship at the Masonic Temple in Columbus City for family and friends. Online condolences may be left for Lena�s family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. Lena Rae Davis was born January 6, 1982 in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Dallas and Kay (Rees) Davis. In 2000 she graduated with honors from Winfield-Mt. Union High School and then attended Kirkwood Community College, earning an Associate Degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Lena worked at St. Luke�s Hospital in Cedar Rapids and was a member of the PTA of Iowa. On September 27, 2003 she was united in marriage to Roger Koehn in Washington, Iowa. Lena was a devoted wife and enjoyed decorating their own home. Lena was very close to all of her family members and was very attentive to family activities. She also enjoyed and loved her two Huskies, Mika and Keeta. Lena will be dearly missed by her husband, Roger J. Koehn of Cedar Rapids; her parents, Dallas E.and Kay M.Davis of rural Crawfordsville; her sister, Megan L. Davis of Cedar Rapids; her brothers, Emery T. Davis and Skyler B. Davis of rural Crawfordsville; and her maternal Grandparents, Rowland and Donna Rees of Columbus Junction. Lena was preceded in death by her paternal Grandparents, Alfred and Eleanor Davis.
