Obituary of Ronald Dean Murry

Ronald Dean "R.D.� Murry, II, age 34, of Muscatine, formerly of Columbus Junction, died Wednesday, July 13, 2005 in Columbus Junction. Memorial Services for R.D. will be Sunday, July 17, 2005 at 2:00pm at the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church. Pastor Cathy Whitlatch will officiate. The Honorary Casketbearer and friend will be James Woepking. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 16th, from 3-6:00pm at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. A memorial has been established at the funeral home in R.D.�s name. Burial will be in the Columbus City Cemetery. Ronald Dean Murry, II, was born April 14, 1971 in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Ronald and Martha (Pennington) Murry. R.D. attended Columbus Community High School and was a member of the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church. He worked with his father in general construction for many years, and he was employed at Allsteel in Muscatine for 7 years. R.D. enjoyed his family, family gatherings and especially, his nieces, nephews and cousins. He also enjoyed woodworking and watching professional wrestling. R.D. will be dearly missed by his parents, Ron and Martha Murry of Columbus Junction; his sisters, Teresa Ann Murry of Columbus Junction, Melinda Jo "Mindy� Simmons and her husband, James of Coralville; and Wendy Dee Young and her husband, Tony of Iowa City; and his nieces and nephews, Mackenzie, Brittany, Jay, Ryan, Austin, Nicole, Joshua, Isaiah and Jayden. R.D. was preceded in death by his sister, Tracey.
