Obituary of Timothy J. Stange

Timothy J. Stange, 19, of Muscatine, died Friday, July 22, 2005, at his home, following a life-long battle with heart disease. Rev. Paul Ostrem will officiate the service. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Richard Stange, Ken Leslie, Dan Nietzel, Bob Mueller, Luke Martz, and Randy Duncan. Honorary bearers will be Kelli Wilder, Katie Dougherty, and Wun-Mei Chiang. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Make A Wish Foundation, University of Iowa Pediatric Cardiology, and Genesis Hospice. Tim graduated from Muscatine High School in 2004, and he was attending Muscatine Community College. He was active and supportive in the Make A Wish Foundation. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. Survivors include his parents Dick and Ann Stange of Muscatine; one brother Richard J. Stange of Muscatine; maternal grandmother Dorothy Seamer of Davenport; paternal grandparents Jack and Mary Ann Stange of Muscatine; paternal great grandmother Charlotte Sylvester of Muscatine; special friend Amber Sivedge of Muscatine; several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Carlie Seamer, paternal great grandfather, and maternal great grandparents.
