Obituary of Paul Edward Lowe

Paul E. Lowe, 80, of Clinton, Missouri, a former long time resident of Columbus Junction, Iowa, died Saturday morning, August 6, 2005, at the Golden Valley Memorial Hospital in Clinton, Mo. Family and friends will be meeting at a public memorial graveside service on Monday, August 15, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Columbus City Cemetery with Rev. Cathy Whitlatch officiating. There will be a time of food, fellowship and visiting with the family, following the graveside services, at the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made in Paul�s name and be left at the Stacy-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services or sent to the family at 1051 Hogan Pl. Clinton, Mo 64735. Sympathy notes for the family may be left at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. Paul was born July 27, 1925 in Fredonia, Iowa, the son of Leslie LeRoy and Gloris Izola Fisher Lowe. On May 10, 1953 in West Liberty, Iowa, he was united in marriage to Faye Evelyn Winders. Mr. Lowe was the owner of the Lowe Insurance Agency and Lowe Bookkeeping and Tax Service for 25 years in Columbus Junction. Paul served in the United States Marines, during World War II in the South Pacific. He was a member of the Columbus Junction United Methodist Church and the American Legion. In addition to his wife, Faye, he is survived by 2 daughters, Paula F. Tompkins, and her husband, Steve, Clinton, Mo., Pamela K. Buser and her husband, Boyd, Kennebunkport, Maine; 5 grandchildren, Tommy Tompkins and Sheridan Tompkins, both of Clinton, Mo., Michelle Buser, Warren, Rhode Island, Morgan Buser and Charlie Buser, both of Kennebunkport, Maine.
