Obituary of Robert E. Kilburn
Robert E. "Bobo� Kilburn, 24, of Muscatine, died Monday, August 22, 2005 from a drowning accident. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 27, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Rev. Kenny Cooley will officiate. Casketbearers will be Juan Solis, Andy Wilkins, Jason Kilburn, Jacob Kilburn, Jim Kilburn and Jeff Kilburn. Honorary casketbearers will be Mark Ball and April Ball. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Following the interment, a time of food and fellowship will be held in the Community Room at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral & Cremation Services. Visitation for Bob will be held on Friday, August 26, 2005 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. A memorial has been established at the funeral home in Bob�s name. Robert Eugene Kilburn was born April 8, 1981 in Muscatine. He is the son of Darrel Ball and Scott and Cynthia Bierman. He was previously employed at DJ�s Tree Service and Riverbend Construction. Bob enjoyed fishing, making people laugh and spending time with his friends.
Bob will be deeply missed by his parents, Darrel Ball of Nichols, Iowa and Scott and Cynthia Bierman of New Boston, Illinois; one brother, Mark Ball of Nichols, Iowa; one sister, April Ball of New Boston, Illinois; two stepbrothers, Zach Bierman of Muscatine and Ben Bierman of New Boston, Illinois, one stepsister, Elizabeth Bierman of Nichols, Iowa; maternal grandparents, Robert Wayne and Barbara Kilburn of Muscatine, paternal grandmother, Donna Ball of Nichols, Iowa; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Nelson Ball.
