Obituary of Russell L. Jameson

Russell L Jameson, 80, of Muscatine, died Saturday, October 8, 2005, at Unity Hospital. Private family services will be held at a later date. Reverend Kim Bowles will officiate. Casketbearers will be Mark Haddick, Scott Haddick, Kyle Haddick, and Michael Raymond. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation for Russell will be held on Monday, October 10, 2005 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. Jameson was born December 10, 1924 in Nichols, Iowa, the son of Verner and Elsie (French) Jameson. On December 16, 1950 Russell was united in marriage to Betty D. Brenneman in Muscatine. Russell worked at Roche and Musser Co., GPC as an electrician, and was a machine operator at Bandag, retiring in 1987. Russell enjoyed woodworking, horses, and dogs. He also loved the Iowa Hawkeyes. Russell will be deeply missed by his wife, Betty; two daughters, Vicki Haddick and her husband, Mark of Coal Valley, IL and Judy Raymond of Muscatine; and three grandsons, Scott and Kyle Haddick, and Michael Raymond. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Ralph Jameson, one sister Darlene Nelson, and one granddaughter in infancy.
