Obituary of Margaret L. Robertson

Margaret Lucille Bell was born on January 4, 1914, the daughter of Spencer and Winifred (Peters) Bell. She graduated from Cotter High School. Margaret was united in marriage to Keith Hutton Robertson on August of 1937. She was a homemaker and worked at various restaurants and drug stores in Columbus Junction. She and her husband, Keith farmed, owned and operated the John Deere Store and Robertson Real Estate. Margaret was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and a former member of the PEO and TTT. Margaret enjoyed cooking, entertaining friends, flowers, gardening and bridge, but most of all, Margaret dearly loved being with her grandchildren. Margaret will be dearly missed by her son, Larry Robertson and his wife, Connie, of Columbus Junction; four grandchildren, Sheri Austin and her husband, Jon, of Coralville, Wendy Frese and her husband, Brian of Cedar Rapids, Molly Brischetto and her husband, Christopher of Aurora, Illinois and John Jay Robertson and his wife, Susie of North Liberty; eight great grandchildren and one sister, Mildred Harbison and her husband, Herbert Jr. of Morning Sun. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Keith in 1984, two sisters, Dorothy Kilgore and Anita Hill and one brother, Donald Bell.
