Obituary of Marjorie E. Ziegenhorn

Marjorie Eula McElroy was born March 1, 1917 in Muscatine the daughter of Orrie J. and Stella C. (Larson) McElroy. On January 6, 1943 Marjorie was united in marriage to Donald M. Ziegenhorn in Blackstone, Virginia. Marjorie was a member of First Baptist Church and a former long time member of the Muscatine General Hospital Auxiliary. She was an avid reader, enjoyed flower gardening, music and singing. Marjorie loved to travel and all the family enjoyed her cooking. Her grandchildren were very dear and important to her. Marjorie will be deeply missed by her husband, Don of Muscatine; two sons, Craig M. Ziegenhorn and his wife, Mary, of Kansas City, Missouri and Donald Lee Ziegenhorn of Muscatine; two granddaughters, Trisha Huntsman and Stefanie Ziegenhorn; and three nephews, Scott Ingstad of Muscatine, Kim Ingstad of Minden, Nevada and Jon Ingstad of Wilton, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Virgil McElroy.
