Obituary of Helen Blanche Trible

Helen B. Trible, 90, of Muscatine died Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at the Muscatine Care Center. Funeral services will be Friday, January 27, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Rev. Bill Walker of Glad Tidings Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Wapello Cemetery. Following the interment, a time of food and fellowship will be held in the Community Room at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral & Cremation Services. Visitation for Helen will be held on Friday, January 27, 2006 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. A memorial has been established at the funeral home in Helen�s name. Sympathy notes may be left for the Trible family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com. Helen Blanche Trible was born January 9, 1916 in Wapello, Iowa the daughter of Beverly W. and Ada M. Finley Trible. Helen was employed out of High School at the North Western Bell Telephone Company, in Wapello, as a telephone operator. Over the years she was also employed at the Auditors Office of Louisa County, Hon Industries and Luellen Cleaners. Helen was a lifelong resident of the Wapello and Muscatine area and attended the Glad Tidings Church in Muscatine. She enjoyed reading, word search puzzles, writing letters and cards and her cats. Helen will be deeply missed by her five nieces; Janet Askam of Scottsdale, Arizona, Wilma Heuer and her husband Kenneth of Muscatine, Dolores Stover and her husband Archie of Durant, Iowa, Carlene Morrison and her husband Charles of Letts, Iowa and Anna Mae Schmelzer and her husband Howard of Muscatine, Iowa. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Erma Wilson Reynolds; and two brothers, Earl and Charles Trible.
