Obituary of Judith Gail Pritchett

Judi Pritchett, 58 of Iowa City died Wednesday, July 20, 2005 in Kenosha, Wisconsin following a sudden illness. Funeral services for Judi will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, July 25, 2005 at the United Presbyterian Church in Lone Tree. Loren Yoder will officiate the services. Following the funeral services a time of food and fellowship will be held at the Lone Tree American Legion. Visitation for Judi will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2005, from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Sorden-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Lone Tree. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the education fund of Judi�s grandchildren. Burial will be 10:30 A.M. on Tuesday, July 26, 2005 at the Lone Tree Cemetery. Judith Gail Riggan was born on May 27, 1947 in Iowa City, Iowa the daughter of Henry and Amanda (Seering) Riggan. Judi worked as a secretary for the Eye Clinic at the University of Iowa. Judi enjoyed dancing, attending music concerts, traveling, tasting wines, driving her convertible and was an avid Hawkeye fan. But most of all, Judi dearly loved to spend time with her family and her grandchildren. Judi will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Cassie Seydel and her husband, Jamie of Iowa City and Niki Pritchett and her special friend, Corey Quayle of Des Moines; two grandchildren, Kendel Seydel and Tyler Pritchett; seven brothers, Earl Riggan and his wife, Delores of Riverside, Richard Riggan and his wife, Lois of Ainsworth, William Riggan and his wife, Barbara of Washington, Larry Riggan and his wife, Karma of Des Moines, Michael Riggan and his wife, Diane of Muscatine, Kenny Riggan and his wife, Jan of Wellman and Ronnie Riggan and his wife, Linda of Lone Tree; six sisters, Marcia Blakemore and her husband, Melvin of Clarke, Missouri, Nancy Knebel and her husband, Richard of Iowa City, Carol Johnson and her husband, James of Lone Tree, Elizabeth Droll and her husband, Gary of Woodland Park, Colorado, Virginia Lee and her husband, Lonnie of Avon, Illinois and Sandra Kleckner and her husband, Jack of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; two sisters-in-law, Sharon Riggan of Tiffin and Margaret Riggan of West Liberty. Judi was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, James, David and Lyle and one sister, Janette.
